Technology evolves quickly, and the need for the identification, collection, and production of digital evidence continues to grow.  The legal ramifications of new technologies have a significant impact on investigators and legal professionals who rely heavily on digital evidence stored on computer hard drives, shared networks, email systems, websites, databases, and emerging technology.  The American Society of Digital Forensics & eDiscovery (ASDFED) is committed to furthering the practical skills required to keep pace with the changing industry. We’re pleased to introduce a new suite of courses designed to enable industry professionals to more efficiently find the information they need.

Geared toward legal professionals, digital forensics specialists, computer engineers, and private consultants, the curriculum is developed by our team of industry experts.  These courses are offered through individual ASDFED chapters and held in corporate training rooms across the United States. They will be presented in a 50-minute format with a minimum course length of three presentations.  To create the best learning environment, each ASDFED Hosted Course attendee receives instruction from a highly qualified industry expert based on a series of peer-reviewed Microsoft PowerPoint Slides.  Additionally, each attendee will receive a comprehensive, multi-chapter course workbook.  This ½-inch, 3-ring binder will contain an entire series of materials relevant to the course.  Each 50 minute PowerPoint presentation will have a corresponding chapter within the workbook.  Each chapter extensively explains the course materials, outlining and expanding upon key points and learning objectives.  This ensures that each attendee has extensive, practical, and useful materials.
